Cozied on top of the scenic bluffs above Middle River Valley in Winterset, Iowa, PepperHarrow is a 60 acre flower and lavender farm in the heart of Madison County, about 35 minutes from Des Moines. What started as a small cut flower operation has grown into one of Central Iowa's most beloved farm destinations, with more than 18,000 lavender plants, acres of wildflowers and seasonal blooms, and a full calendar of experiences including our annual Lavender Festival, hands on workshops, flower CSA memberships, glamping stays, and private events. We are Adam and Jennifer O'Neal, authors of Small Farm, Big Dreams, and nationally recognized speakers on flower farming and agritourism. Our farm has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Midwest Living, Martha Stewart, and Country Gardens.
