Our Chester Copperpot Mix (Celosia argentea) release has been highly anticipated in both the gardening community as well as the flower farming world. We’re excited to be sharing this beauty celosia with all of you for the second year.
We’ve been working on Chester over the last 6 growing seasons, perfecting the color and texture. As you can see from the images, the result is absolutely gorgeous! Colors in this mix range from coppery orange, soft gold, muted orange, to deep magenta red. This is the perfect celosia variety if you’re looking for more muted fall colors for your design work, or for fall bouquets.

Seed Packet Contains: Minimum 50 Seeds
Seed Starting Directions:
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost, or directly outdoors in spring, once all danger of frost has passed. If starting indoors, plant seeds 1/8” into seed starting medium, keeping temperature of growing area around 70 degrees F. Seeds will germinate in 6 to 14 days. Transplant seedlings outdoors after 4 leaves have set and plants have had an opportunity to harden off.
